2011 6’- 160 lb outfield prospect Brett Thompson is an extremely hard worker who continues to improve his skills daily. He is a relentless worker with a lot of athleticism and has really taken off since he started in the O’s Program and Marvin Ridge High School. He is one of the best outfielders in the O’s Program with his great reads off the bat and his 6.8-6.9 speed in the 60yd dash that tracks down balls that you normally think will fall. He is a definite threat to steal on the bases and shows off a good arm in the outfield as well. He is a good line drive type hitter that uses the whole field to hit in and is starting to show some pop with the added muscle he has worked hard on for his slender frame. This outstanding young man is a pleasure to be around and very easy to coach because he loves the game. He plays school ball for Coach Mennitt at Marvin Ridge High School and will play this Fall for Coach Lover and the 2011 On Deck O’s Orange Team.
